Centreline, the fast growing Aircraft Management and Charter Company, has secured the contract to operate the UK’s only Embraer Legacy 500 aircraft and will be offering it for charter from the end of May 2016.
Centreline received the brand new, nine seat, aircraft into its Bristol Airport facility in March where it was placed onto the company’s Aircraft Operating Certificate (AOC). With a range of over 3100 nautical miles, even from relatively short runways, the Legacy 500 will open up destinations such as the former CIS, Greece and The Canary Islands to charter customers. This Legacy 500 is only the second of its type in Europe and brings the number of aircraft in the Centreline fleet to nine.
Phil Brockwell, Commercial Director of Centreline commented;
“To be able to bring yet another aircraft type into our fleet, and to be the first in the UK to offer charter customers the option of the versatile Legacy 500, is really exciting. We are looking forward to demonstrating the benefits of this beautiful new aircraft to Brokers.”
Brockwell added;
“We have stated clearly that our goal is to diversify the type of aircraft in our fleet and operating this Legacy as another step in meeting that goal.”
In February 2016, Pula Aviation Ltd announced that it has acquired 100% of the share capital of the Centreline Group and that it would continue with the strategy of the existing management team.
